Polo Biblio-museale - ex Convitto Palmieri, Piazzetta Giosuè Carducci

Originally the building complex, composed of the church of S. Francesco della Scarpa and the adjoining convent, was the secular residence of the minor Franciscan Fathers, who inhabited it continuously from the 14th century until their suppression. In 1634, around 30 friars lived in the convent.
